The terrace and pool bar are open every day — breakfast in the morning sun, easy snacks through the afternoon, simple but delicious lunches, and light evening meals as the day winds down. Room-guest breakfast is $6, dinner $12. Non-guests are warmly welcome.
Saturdays & Sundays — Imba Weekend Breakfast on the Sunset Deck, 8 am to 12 pm. The full English plus weekend specials from the board. Pricing changes with the board — see today's menu when you book. By booking only; 50% non-refundable deposit.
Saturdays & Sundays — Poolside Rolls, $5. Bacon and egg, or boerewors, cooked on the braai right by the pool — refuelling for the weekend running and cycling crowd, and one of the great pleasures of a Harare winter morning. Walk-up, no booking required.
From Friday lunchtime through Sunday evening, the pool comes alive around our weekend braai, cooked over sustainably sourced charcoal.
Weeknights — Pop-up Evenings. Guest appearances by some of the region's best-loved chefs, alongside our own Imba Special Evenings.
Fridays — Specials of the Week on the Sunset Deck. A rotating line-up of themed evenings — seafood, Mexican, winter warmers, steak night and more.
Saturdays — Bar Games Night. Soup of the day, the Imba beef or chicken burger with chips, and a long table of company.
All evening events are limited to 70 guests, by booking only — 20% non-refundable deposit, no walk-ins, no discounts.

Beyond the rooms and restaurant, the lodge has a series of signature spaces — free to use for anyone staying, dining, or simply dropping in for the day.

30 kW of solar powers the property, every panel registered on the Marillion Solar app. Carbon savings are logged in real time, and the resulting credits are reinvested directly back into Imba Matombo.
Water is drawn from deep, solar-powered boreholes. Kitchen waste is composted on site, and our menus lean heavily on local growers and producers — shortening supply chains and cutting the carbon cost of imported goods.
